Describe Your Style in Three Words?
Colorful, naïve and simple but full of details.
How Long Have You Been Stitching For?
I’ve been embroidering and crocheting for more than 20 years.
What’s Your Favorite Stitch?
I love double crochet (US single crochet) because as it's very easy, it allows you to make amazing shapes and volumes.
How Did You Learn to Stitch?
In crochet I’m self-taught but in embroidery I started by myself and later on studied at the Royal School of Needlework at École Lesage and goldwork in Seville.
What Are Your Embroidery Essentials?
I prefer having less things that are high quality. A comfortable crochet hook that allows yarn to slide easily, great embroidery needles and a pair of sharp scissors are my basics.
What Inspires You?
I seek inspiration all around me: quiet countryside at dusk, a walk in the forest with my family and the crazy ideas from my kids.
What’s Your Favorite Piece Of Work?
Embroidering book covers are one of my favorite works and I really enjoyed designing the Olympic amigurumis set.
What Difference Has Stitching Made To Your Life?
Due to it being so time consuming, it has made me appreciate little calm moments.
