Gold-plated tapestry needles in sizes 22, 24, and 26. DMC Tapestry Needles slide through fabric more easily than other metals. These premium quality needles are hypoallergenic for sensitive skin, as well as resistant to humidity, body oils and rust. Perfect for cross-stitch, needlepoint, and counted thread work.
Tapestry needles have large eyes, a thicker form and a blunt point. They are used for techniques that use fabrics with open holes that determine where stitches are placed such as Aida or canvas. This is because you want a needle that will pass smoothly through the open holes rather than piercing the fabric. The large eye also makes it easier to thread thicker yarns and threads.
Needles are approximately 1" long.
