Each shade has been carefully selected by our creative team to create a colour palette inspired by jacquard textiles. Jacquard fabric is a type of fabric woven on a Jacquard loom, which was invented by the French textile artisan Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1804.

DMC has been manufacturing Mouliné stranded embroidery thread in our factory in Mulhouse since the 1800s. It is the benchmark for quality and is loved by artists, professional embroiderers and beginners alike.

The thread’s six strands separate easily. Add depth and fine details to your work by varying the number of strands you use. Made with highly fade resistant dyes so your needlework can be enjoyed for generations to come. We use the world's finest long staple cotton and mercerise it twice to give your embroidery exceptional sheen. Colourfast dyes ensure your work can be washed without fear of the colour fading or bleeding.
