Gold Embroidery Needles

The gold-plated version of our embroidery needles which have a slender shaft and sharp point that’s designed to pierce embroidery fabrics easily. They have a medium/long eye to make it easier to thread with multiple strands of stranded cotton. Suitable for use with Mouliné Special Stranded Embroidery Thread, Coton Perlé, Coton à Broder and many other embroidery threads.Packs of 4 premium 24 carat gold-plated needles. Highly resistant to humidity, body oils and rust, they slide through fabric more easily than other metals. Hypoallergenic for sensitive skin. Perfect for a wide range of hand embroidery techniques.

About this product

DMC gold-plated embroidery needles come in sizes 1-9, the smaller the number the larger the needle so a size 9 embroidery needle is the finer that a size 1. Size 7,5 and 3 embroidery needles are also known as crewel needles, deriving their name from a traditional style of embroidery that uses a fine 2-ply woollen thread.
