This 100% organic non–mulesed wool has been dyed using infusions of completely natural ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. From soft neutrals to bold vibrant hues, the natural dyes give the thread a gently mottled appearance that adds a touch of authenticity and organic beauty to your makes.

Perfect for mending, hand embroidery, cross stitch, punch needle and weaving, this durable soft thread feels lovely to work with and gives stitches a raised three-dimensional quality. Unlike Six-Strand Embroidery Floss, this crewel wool thread is used whole as a single strand, rather than being divided.

Projects can be hand washed at 30 degrees. As with all natural dyes, there may be slight color variation.
