    Materials:

    Kumihimo Disk 4 strands of floss or craft thread about 36” long Scissors [associated-products] Kumihimo-Orgin1

    History:

    Kumihimo is Japanese for “gathered threads.” This technique of braiding strands of silk was used to create intricately colored chords. Samurai's once used kumihimo as laces for their armor.
