Crochet Lucky 4 Leaf Clover Amigurumi

Happy St. Patricks Day! Get lucky and crochet this 4-leaf amigirumi clover design with our Natura yarn.

Materials:

- Natura Just Cotton N48 (Chartreuse) 1 ball - 2.5 mm crochet hook (use a smaller hook if you see gaps in your stitches) - DMC tapestry needle - scissors - Polyester fibrefill stuffing - Brooch pin [associated-products] Finished measurements: aprox 5” diameter   Note: Do not join an do not turn at the end of each round, rounds are worked in continuous spirals. How to read the rows: Each row has a sequence as given below. Example: 1sc then 2sc in next st means repeat that sequence 1sc then 2sc in next st followed by 1sc then 2sc in next st over and over to the end of that particular row. The number inside the parentheses ( ~ ) is the number of stitches you should have at the end of that particular row. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round. Move the marker up each time you start a new round.   Abbreviations: Rnd = Round ch = chain sl st = slip stitch st = switch sc = single crochet sc decrease = single crochet decrease

LEAF 1:

Cup 1:

With Natura Just Cotton N48 (Chartreuse) Make a magic ring, ch 1. Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring and pull the ring to close (6st) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 st) Rnd 3: [2 sc in next st, sc in next st] six times (18 st) Rnd 4-7: sc in each st around (18 st) Join with sl st to next st. Finish off and weave in ends.  

Cup 2:

Make a magic ring, ch 1. Rnd 1-7: work in the same manner as Rnds 1 through 7 of the first cup. Do not join with sl st. (Photo 4) Place Cup 1 in front of Cup 2 and join them with 4 sl st. Continue working around the edge of joined pieces as follows: Rnd 1: sc in each st around (28 st, 18 st (cup 1) + 18 st (cup 2) – 4 sl st (cup 1) – 4 sl st (cup 2) = 28 st) Rnd 2-4: sc in each st around (28 st) Rnd 5: [1 sc decrease, sc in next 5 st] four times (24 st) Rnd 6: sc in each st around (24 st) Rnd 7: [1 sc decrease, sc in next 4 st] four times (20 st) Stuff the leaf firmly as you go. Rnd 8: sc in each st around (20 st) Rnd 9: [1 sc decrease, sc in next 3 st] four times (16 st) Rnd 10: sc in each st around (16 st) Rnd 11: [1 sc decrease, sc in next 2 st] four times (12 st) Rnd 12: sc in each st around (12 st) Rnd 13: [1 sc decrease, sc in next st] four times (8 st) Rnd 14: sc in each st around (8 st) Join with sl st to next st. Finish off leaving a long end. Make 3 more leafs (we need 4 leafs).

STEM:

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring and pull the ring to close (6st) Rnd 2: [2 sc in next st, sc in next st] three times (9 st) Rnd 3-15: sc in each st around (9 st) Join with sl st to next st. Finish off leaving a long end. Fill the piece with the polyester fibrefill stuffing

Assembly:
