Coloris Thread: A Bookmark for a Bright Spot

Coloris thread is coming to your rescue. Maybe not in any ‘911 what is your emergency?’ sort of way, but it’s pretty important none the less. In anticipation of your holiday shopping fatigue, we wanted to offer you a pattern that would brighten your day and remind you to take some time for yourself. This ‘save my spot’ bookmark achieves both of these goals. First, it’s a bookmark. And what is a bookmark used for? That’s right, reading. Pick out your next page-turner and get it ready for those moments when you need to take some time away from the shopping, the parties, and the cooking. The bookmark is created using Coloris thread—the 6-stranded floss made up for four harmonious DMC colors. So it can be a literal bright spot in your day.

Okay, okay, we know, it’s an adorable bookmark. Perfect as a stocking stuffer for that bookworm in your life. Fine. If you’ve got to stitch it up for someone else this season we won’t blame you. At the very least, we hope that the time it takes to stitch it will give you a little break from the stresses of the season.

Happy stitching—no matter who you stitch it for!
