This pack includes six DMC Light Effects Thread skeins in soft pearlescent pastel shades. DMC Light Effects metallic thread is a divisible, six-strand glistening thread that will add a twinkle and special touches to your handmade. This 100% polyester thread is colorfast and tarnish resistant.

Each 8.7 yard skein has a convenient pull-skein feature for ease of use.

I am using this thread for needlepoint. Before using on your canvas, do some practice stitching. One strand on 18 count, 2 on 14 count canvas. It seems to do better with shorter stitches because of the stiffness of the thread. I'm liking it best over one or two canvas threads. Any more than that it doesn't lie flat. It is BEAUTIFUL! The color shimmers and really looks as if light is coming from it. In just minutes of using it, I've decided to order more to use as a sky.
