A few tips...

Color Variations is designed to be stitched using any cross stitch technique, its color combinations will always show.

So you can stitch the way you like best:  

1) either using the most common cross-stitch technique half crosses in a way / / / then the other half back \ \ \,

2) or stitching one complete cross at a time : X X X.

If you want more control over the colors:

• for a more blended look, use the first method;
• for a more contrasted look, use the second one.

More fun cross stitching

Each skein of DMC Color Variations is a combination of current DMC Embroidery Floss colors (see table below).

You can create beautiful designs with colors that compliment one another perfectly by combining Color Variation threads with the DMC Embrodiery Floss solid colors that make up that particular Variations skein. This is ideal for samplers as well as mini motifs and borders.
