The art of needlework continues to surprise you !

Geomtrey needlework is so incredibly easy ! All you need to know is the following advices..

The ideal thread to use is DMC Pearl Cotton, because its unique and shiny aspect adds a satiny sheen to your designs. We recommend you to use needles with blunt point.

You can find designs for beginners and experts on dmc.com and in our books.

Tips :

Before you start, pass one or more frame threads to mark the center of the fabric.

1. Cut a length of thread of 50 cm

2. Do a knot on one of the side

3. Pass the needle under the small bridges in the Geometry fabric. Follow the instructions on the chart.

Keep fabric flat while stitching and avoid tugging on the thread, so that the fabric does not pucker.

4. To stop : tie a knot in the thread on the back

5. To change directions or lines :

  • If the thread must be visible on the right side, simply move from one line to another.
  • If the thread must be invisible on the right side, stitch on the back and pull thread out on the right side in the choosen area.

You can also personlalize your stitching projects by adding ribbons, beads, sequins, etc...
