Transfer paper

With the transfer paper, your imagination has no limits!

Did you find a design that you really like in a magazine, Internet or elsewhere? Simply copy it, using Linea transfer paper and stitch along the lines.

Just try it ! You will see that it is much easier and quicker than you imagined.

A few recommandations before you begin...

- Pre-test first on a swatch of fabric.

- Not suited for thick woven rustic fabrics.

- The lines disappear by washing. (30° maximum)

- Don't iron unless the markings have totally disappeared, a hot iron might fix the ink onto the fabric.

How to you use the transfer paper:

1. Choose a colour of transfer paper in contrast with the colour of the fabric.

2. Position the design onto the fabric and secure with a pin.

3. Slide the transfer paper under the drawing, the coloured side against the fabric.

4. Using a ball-point pen, trace along the lines of the design. Repeat if necessary so the lines are clearly marked.

5.  Select your colours from among over 150 shades of DMC Pearl Cotton, art 115/5.

And stitch along the lines.
